InfiniCloud is launching InfiniCloud® HVSuite, a standalone software package combining the InfiniCloud® HV hypervisor,optimized for enterprise use and customized with a focus on robustness, with virtualizationorchestration software.This hypervisor was developed for use in our cloudservice infrastructure and is based on the operational expertise in hypervisorscultivated since 2007. Since many of our enterprise users run mission-criticalbusiness systems, it has been designed and built with an emphasis on resourceisolation rather than resource sharing. We are now offering bundledsales with popular virtualization orchestration software.
Development Background & Challenges
The virtualization infrastructure markethas experienced a notable rise in concerns over vendor lock-in with overseasproviders, driven by changes in VMware’s licensing structure and support framework.At the same time, there is increasing demand from users for data sovereignty(sovereign cloud) solutions that enable users to maintain control over theirown data, independent of proprietary solutions.
InfiniCloud® HV Suite addresses these challenges with a robust solutionfeaturing flexibility and high isolation.
Originally, InfiniCloud® HV was providedas part of our cloud service infrastructure. However, in response to growingdata sovereignty needs and requests for an alternative platform to VMwareproducts, we have also offered it as an OEM solution for data center providersand as the appliance product InfiniCloud Private Cloud Appliance (PCA) bundledwith hardware.
The new InfiniCloud® HV Suite wasdeveloped in response to requests for the software component alone. It bundlesthe InfiniCloud® HV hypervisor with either of the popular virtualizationorchestration software platforms, Vates VMS or Proxmox VE, and isoffered with Japanese language support.
A Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) is available toguarantee computability with our products, ensure users can confidentlyimplement our open-source-based solutions.
